Wilfried Zaha is still receiving treatment on the hamstring injury that saw him miss the end of last season amid uncertainty over his availability for the start of the new campaign.
Despite the fact Zaha’s contract with Palace has expired, the Ivory Coast international has been receiving physio at the south London club’s Beckenham HQ during the close season.
Zaha missed the final two games of the 2022/23 term with a hamstring problem but the extent of the injury was never revealed.
It was hoped that the forward would be fully recovered by now, however sources have indicated that he is yet to reach full recovery.
And there are concerns Zaha’s continued rehabilitation could prevent him being available for the start of the season.

Zaha’s future remains unclear despite the new Premier League season being just four weeks away.
Palace want him to re-sign and he has been offered a renewal contract worth £200,000-per-week.
However, because Zaha’s contract with Palace has now expired – any contract to stay in south London would not be a renewal but a new registration.
The winger is expected to meet with the Palace hirearchy in the coming days for talks that could prove pivotal towards his future.
Fenerbahce retain a strong interest in Zaha with talks over a move to Turkey ongoing, but it is understood the Istanbul club’s financial package is less than what has been initially offered by Palace.
