Logan Paul has revealed that he flew from Dallas to Detroit via a private jet and also had a police escort so that he could make it in time to watch his brother defeat UFC star Nate Diaz.

The YouTube sensation was fighting in WWE SummerSlam, but made it just in time to watch the bout.

It was a successful night for the Paul family, with both brothers winning their respective fights, with Logan defeating Ricochet utilising a set of brass knuckles to claim the victory.

Jake, meanwhile, returned to the ring following his first professional loss to Tommy Fury back in February, to defeat Diaz via unanimous decision.

Paul knocked the southpaw fighter down in round five, with the three judges scoring the fight 97-92, 98-91, and 98-91.

It was also Diaz’s first professional bout inside the ring, with the 38-year-old stepping away from UFC last year, but admitted before the fight that he wanted to return to the UFC.

Logan, meanwhile, last year signed an official contract with the WWE and renewed that commitment again in June

And he’s been pretty busy of late, notably appearing at WWE’s Money In The Bank event at the O2 in London last month, where he was thrown through a table and suffered some nasty injuries

But despite his own commitments wth the WWE, there was no chance he was missing his brother’s landmark bout against Diaz with Paul claiming he flew by a jet and got a police escort to get to the event.

His brother’s fight was held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, while SumerSlam was being held at Ford Field in Detroit, and Paul arrived after completing the 1,187 mile journey to greet his brother with a big hug but was still wearing his wrestling outfit.

In a video posted on Twitter, Logan can be seen video calling his brother before the fight and promising him that he’ll make it on time.

He says to Jake: ‘I’m going to try and get there as quick as possible. As soon as my match end, to the SUV, to the jet, police escorts and I’m there.’

Jake replies: ‘Alright let’s go.’

His older brother adds: ‘I love you bro. I’m proud of you Jake. I’m proud of you bro.’

‘I’m proud of you man, this is so surreal what we’re doing, it doesn’t make any sense,’ Jake responds.’

Following the bout, Jake has immediately lined up a rematch with the MMA star, but will this time be hoping to fight him in the Octagon in a match that could be worth $10million (£7.84m).

Immediately after beating Diaz, Paul told DAZN: ‘I wanna run it back in MMA. There’s an offer of $10m PFL (Professional Fighting League).

‘Let’s run it back in MMA – make it fair. I won one, now it’s your chance in home territory – let’s do it.’

And Diaz seems like he might take him up on the offer, responding: ‘Yeah let’s do it. I want to try and do it.

‘He’s tough and I wish I could’ve done better but some s*** didn’t happen how I wanted but he won this one.

‘I’ll fight anybody, I don’t give a f***. MMA sounds good and I’ll try and get one back. Everybody believes he whipped my a*** but I want to beg to differ.’
