Mo Salah has set tongues wagging after turning up to Liverpool training in a tuxedo.
The Premier League leaders posted a picture of Salah arriving at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby on Wednesday with a big grin on his face and wearing a tuxedo alongside the caption: ‘Mo is a man on a mission today’.
They did not reveal the reason behind his unusual choice of clothing, but fans were happy to speculate on social media after seeing the photo.
One fan joked that Salah may have dressed to impress for a job interview, with Liverpool still looking for Jurgen Klopp‘s successor ahead of his departure at the end of the season.
‘He’s interviewing to be Klopp’s replacement,’ they cheekily suggested on X.

But Salah is still only 31, and has shown no signs of slowing down this season, having scored 22 goals in 33 games for the Reds to lead their push for three trophies.
He is set to enter the final year of his contract in the summer, and some supporters optimistically guessed that he may have opted to wear a tuxedo to pen a new deal.
‘Why’s he turned up to training as James Bond? New contract maybe?’ one fan asked.
Another had the same trail of thought as they wrote: ‘Contract extension signed and sealed?’
Salah is enjoying another fine season at Anfield, and could be in the running for some major individual awards if Liverpool go on to win the Premier League next month.
One fan claimed he was getting ready to be crowned the Ballon d’Or winner, having twice finished fifth in the rankings for the award in 2019 and 2022.

Whatever the occasion, Salah seemed very happy about it, and all should become clearer soon.
