Jake Paul has bravely said that Iron Mike Tyson will not have the chance to bite his ear off as he will already have his teeth knocked out by then when they fight each other at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on July 20.
Paul made the response when he was asked what would happen if the ex-heavyweight champion of the world attempted to repeat his infamous bites on Evander Holyfield during their second fight in 1997, for which he was subsequently disqualified in the third round.

It has become one of the most iconic moments in boxing history but has always been a stain on Tyson‘s legacy, in a career that saw him knock out a total of 44 opponents and become regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time.
“He can’t bite my ear off if I knock his teeth out,” Paul said to Fox News. “Man, I think he’s underestimating me. I truly … I truly think that. And it’s a heavyweight fight, so, you know, he’s the bigger man.
“But I’m the faster man. He’s the much stronger man, but I’m fresh. He’s experienced. I’m smart but in the ring, he may be smarter, so it’s a really interesting matchup.”

The bout between the pair has been very controversially received as Tyson is almost 30 years older than Paul and is aged 58. He also hasn’t fought since 2020 and hasn’t fought professionally since 2005.
Paul, meanwhile, has been active since 2020 and recently turned professional. He fought Tommy Fury in 2023 and is in the physical peak of his life, leading to many fans and analysts to claim that the bout is an unfair competition. This was further exacerbated when a video emerged showing Tyson struggling to walk.
Regardless, the match-up will go ahead and it will take place on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (near Dallas). It will be live-streamed by Netflix in their first ever coverage of boxing.
