Fleur East has confirmed the arrival of her first child with husband Marcel Badiane-Robin after a dramatic labour last week which saw her give birth on the living room floor.
The former X Factor contestant, 36, broke the news in an Instagram post on Sunday and confirmed the first time parents had welcomed a baby girl.
Fleur also revealed they’d named the newborn Nova and admitted it was already hard to remember what life was like before becoming a mother.
The Strictly It Takes Two host looked radiant in a slew of snaps which accompanied the announcement as she carried the tot on her chest while out and about with husband Marcel, 35.
Detailing the dramatic birth she wrote: ‘And just like that, our baby girl, Nova, is here!! Our daughter entered the world via squat position into the arms of my Husband and I on our living room floor’

‘One day I will share my birth story with you (what a RIDE!), but for now, we are resting and doing well’.
So thankful to the amazing midwives who were by my side, my birthing partners (my auntie Tina and my Husband @marcel__robin) and all of our family who have been helping out and showering us with love’.
Before adding: ‘It really does take a village! So grateful to God for this blessing. Our little Nova was born on the 22nd March and it feels like she’s always been here’.

The X Factor star mimed along to the viral Baby Mama Dance song, while posing with a dummy in her mouth and shaking a baby bottle.
The lyrics features funny lines like: ‘Baby mama’s this yo song / been pregnant for way too long’, ‘Yeah my belly big, but I’m lookin like a model’ and ‘Preggo but I’m still doin’ moves like Beyoncé’.
Her husband Marcel soon joined in, wearing a red faux-fur coat and sunglasses as he hilariously showered his wife in nappies.
Fleur showed that despite being heavily pregnant, she still had the moves, twerking to the beat and then dropping it low, before she jokingly ‘hurt’ her back.

She and Marcel have been dating since 2010, having first met in a bar in 2009 when he was working as a waiter, but Fleur was dating someone else at the time.
A year later the singer and fashion designer reconnected and started dating before tying the knot nine years later in Morocco in June 2019.
Fleur gave a rare insight into their relationship when discussing the proposal, gushing: ‘I said yes immediately! How Marcel did everything was just wonderful…
‘We’re in a really traditional Japanese hotel and there were petals on the bed and champagne…Then I turned around and he was there, with the ring.
‘He said: “Fleur East, will you be my wife?” I couldn’t believe it. The ring is so beautiful and yellow is my favourite colour.’
Their relationship first became public while Fleur was taking part in The X Factor, with an insider telling The Sun the pair were having ‘secret meetings’ during rehearsals.
They said: ‘They have been dating for a while now and it is definitely serious. He is incredibly supportive of her X Factor success and wants her to go all the way, just as she is really supportive of his fashion career.’
