It has been one of the most successful celebrity collaborations on the high street.

But after more than five years, Holly Willoughby has decided to end her lucrative association with Marks & Spencer, The Mail on Sunday can reveal, topping a tumultuous year for the presenter.

But after stepping away from the daily demands of ITV‘s This Morning for the sake of her family and signing a huge deal with Netflix, the 43-year-old seems to be enjoying her new life.

She certainly looked happy and relaxed as she went for lunch with her friends Christine and Frank Lampard in West London on Thursday, dressed in a designer black suit.

Fellow presenter Mrs Lampard, 44, went for an all-white combination, paired with a brown mini Hermes Birkin bag. And completing the party was Ms Willoughby’s big sister, Kelly, managing director of her lifestyle brand Wylde Moon.

The outing came just days after Ms Willoughby announced she would be hosting a jungle-based show on Netflix with survival expert Bear Grylls, provisionally called Bear Hunt.

She has re-evaluated her life after being the target of an alleged kidnap and murder plot by former security guard Gavin Plumb, who has denied the charges.

Ms Willoughby put her work as an M&S ambassador on hold after learning of the threat to her life, and has now decided to end the deal altogether.

One source said: ‘She absolutely loved working with the company, they have been wonderful, but it’s time to move on.

‘Things are exciting for Holly again after what was a pretty terrible time for her.’

Ms Willoughby has been ‘hugely’ supported by the Lampards following her ordeal, which ultimately led to her quitting This Morning in October after 14 years on its sofa.

It followed the drama of Phillip Schofield leaving the show last May after admitting an affair with a much younger colleague that he had previously denied.

As well as her deal with Netflix, Ms Willoughby has also been offered a new ITV contract to continue presenting the skating show Dancing On Ice, which she is expected to sign.
