Troubled NRL superstar Mitchell Pearce’s relationship with glamorous barre instructor Kristin Scott appears to be over – after the couple’s Byron Bay wedding was called off at the last minute when his ‘flirty’ texts to a club staffer were exposed.
The pair have not been pictured together on Ms Scott’s Instagram for more than two months, with the Newcastle Knights half recently deleting his own page.
And when Ms Scott celebrated her 29th birthday this month, she uploaded a series of photos to her Instagram, none of which included Pearce.
The last time the couple were seen together in a photo on her Instagram was on November 6 at the opening of their Barre Effect studio in Newcastle.
Prior to that post, Ms Scott regularly shared photos with Pearce alongside adoring captions dedicated to ‘her love’.

Pearce stepped down as captain of the Newcastle Knights after it came to light he sent ‘flirty’ text messages to a young club staffer just days before he was due to marry Ms Scott.
He was also left out of the Knights five-man senior leadership group for 2021, announced on Saturday.
The club said it went through an ‘extensive selection process’ to come up with five players who would lead ‘both on and off the field throughout 2021.’
The announcement is another blow for Pearce’s NRL career, after a quiet season which saw his Knights just scrape into the top 8 before being knocked out by the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The couple were scheduled to marry in Byron Bay on December 29 in front of 150 guests but it was called off at the last minute.
Pearce previously insisted the ceremony was not cancelled for good but was just postponed due to Covid-related restrictions.
Ms Scott refused to comment on the status of the pair’s wedding earlier this month as Pearce fronted the media over the text message scandal.
The 31-year-old halfback reportedly relinquished the captaincy to spend more time mending his relationship with his fiancee.
‘For me it’s been a traumatic few weeks for my personal life and those I love,’ Pearce said at a media conference this month.

‘Unfortunately my actions have impacted the team and more importantly the people I have closest to me, Kristin and my family.
‘I’m taking steps now to address these issues and I feel it would be in the best interests of the club for me to step down as captain this season.’
He fought back tears as he voiced his love for the Newcastle team and vowed to overcome the embarrassing public incident, which has caused a major rift among teammates and his family.
‘I love this club and I love my family and I’m committed to working as hard as I can to be the best man I can be both on and off the field,’ he said.
Knights general manager of football Danny Buderus said Pearce’s main priority was fixing his relationship with Ms Scott.
Pearce was found to have sent the ‘flirty’ text messages to a female staffer, which were discovered by the staffer’s partner and became known to his fiancee.
Knights coach Adam O’Brien said Pearce’s off-field saga was ‘not an ideal situation’ for a club desperate for success after making the finals for the first time in seven seasons in 2020, only to be bundled out in week one.

Pearce was not included in the Newcastle Knights five-man senior leadership group for 2021, which was announced on Saturday
O’Brien said the decision to step down was Pearce’s own call and dismissed any speculation of a rift within the playing group, with senior players understood to be close friends with the long-term partner of the Knights staffer involved in the scandal.
‘It is a private matter and their welfare is the number one priority before football but … the group is not divided,’ O’Brien told reporters.
Pearce was also left out of the Knights five-man senior leadership team for 2021.
The group instead includes Mitch Barnett, Kalyn Ponga, Daniel Saifiti, Blake Green and Jayden Brailey.
‘These players have been chosen from the NRL squad following an extensive selection process, and will be tasked with leading the club both on and off the field throughout 2021,’ a statement from the club said.
The club has not chosen their new captain, with the decision to be made at their season launch in March.
