The entertainment industry is grieving after losing some talented stars in 2024 and is still reeling from the deaths of so many bright lights in 2023. Tributes poured in to mourn late celebrities like Adan Canto and Joyce Randolph at the start of this year.
Starsky & Hutch actor David Soul’s death was announced on January 4. Days later, his former partner Lynne Marta died at age 78 after battling cancer. The former pair appeared on the series together in the ’70s before parting ways. Just weeks later, Broadway legend Chita Rivera succumbed to a “brief illness” and died at the age of 91, her friend confirmed.
February began with heartbreak for Rocky fans, who learned of Apollo Creed actor Carl Weathers’ death at 76 years old on February 1. The following month brought the death of former General Hospital star Robyn Bernard at age 64.
