But when she called up to confirm her win, she was told she had forgotten to buy a ticket that week.
Rachel said she was too busy with her university work that it had slipped her mind to enter the draw.

He wrote: ‘When your Mrs decides to not play the EuroMillons… and all 7 of her usual numbers come up.’
Rachel said ‘everything happens for a reason’ and joked Liam he wouldn’t have received any of her winnings if she scooped the prize
Liam posted her numbers from a previous week showing the matching numbers for this week’s prize
Liam showed pictures of a ticket Rachel had bought the previous week with the numbers matching the recent draw.
Rachel told LadBible: ‘Everything happens for a reason though, we’re no richer or poorer than we were this morning.
‘Hopefully it goes to someone who is in desperate need for it.
‘Although it’s sad, I think we’ll get over it pretty quickly – not that he [Liam] was getting any of it anyway!’
Friday’s Euromillions jackpot had been rolled over five times and has been claimed by a winner in Switzerland.
