Rihanna and A$AP Rocky went all out for their son SZA’s first birthday. The celebrity couple threw a ‘Wu-Tang’ themed party.
“Wu-Tang is for the children,” A$AP wrote on his Instagram timeline before giving his son an epic birthday bash. “Happy first birthday to my firstborn,” the celebrity father shared.
SZA’s cake was especially memorable as it was shaped in the form of money. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky joined others in singing The Birthday Song to their little one at his party. SZA, however, gave his parents his attention as the tune went forth.
“He is such a happy baby,” one BCK Instagram follower declared after seeing footage from SZA’s birthday bash. “I love seeing him,” the supporter added. Another fan said, “I can’t believe he’s a year old already. What a handsome little boy.”
SZA made Rihanna and A$AP Rocky parents for the first time on May 13, 2022.
“Seeing his morning face,” Rihanna said of her favorite part of motherhood during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET). “Seeing a baby with, like, little bags and waking up and they’re just, like, startled,” the celebrity mom continued. “They’re trying to figure out where they’re at. It’s the cutest, it’s my favorite part of the day.”
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky will soon add a second child to their family tree. The celebrity mom revealed her possible plans to start a children’s apparel line last year.
“You know, I always thought doing kid stuff would be cliché and the obvious thing to do when you have a baby,” RiRi shared of her initial thoughts. “It’s, like, the obvious next step,” she added.
“But when I went shopping, that’s when I realized like, ‘OK, maybe I need to start making the stuff that I want my kids to wear because it’s hard!’ I got my own ideas.”
Rihanna has not officially announced plans to launch a children’s clothing brand. She and A$AP Rocky are expecting their second child to arrive later this year.
