Meet Cynthia Pollok, Isabella Pollok Mother
Cynthia Pollok the mother of sex cult “Lieutenant” Isabella Pollok. She claimed during her 2022 testimony that she hasn’t seen her daughter for a decade. Federal authorities had charged Isabella in 2021 for allegedly planning with jailed sex cult leader Larry Ray to prey on others at Sarah Lawrence College in New York.
Isabella had portrayed herself as a young, impressionable victim of Ray’s but later pleaded guilty.
At the time Cynthia spoke to The Daily Beast and said, “I was all ready to fly up there next month [for the trial], it was supposed to be taking place on Halloween. I already bought the tickets a month ago, and they sprang this on me yesterday. Isabella finally started to realize that being in Larry’s corner is not going to help her. But I still say all of this is Larry Ray’s fault. Totally his fault.”
Cynthia told the outlet that her daughter was “really, truly brainwashed” by Ray. “He is twice her age,” Isabella’s mom said. “She was barely a teenager when she met him. I’m her mother, I love her. He’s a degenerate.”
An “enterprise [which] targeted a group of college students… for indoctrination and criminal exploitation.” was allegedly targeted by Isabella Pollok and Ray, according to the charge documents. She pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering on Wednesday.
In 2019, Cynthia attempted to free Isabella from Ray’s control by showing up at the home where the two were then residing in Piscataway, New Jersey. Pollok was subsequently chased away by Ray, who threatened to call the police and have her detained for trespassing. The Daily Beast was informed by Pollok that the home’s inside “was like hoarders, crap all over the place. You couldn’t even walk in it.”
As Ray is solely to blame for her daughter’s problems, her mother now wants the judge to sentence him to prison.
“She was so sweet,” Cynthia concluded. “She was even a virgin when she left here at 18 years old, and that’s saying a lot for this time and era. I don’t care if it costs $60,000 a year to go to Sarah Lawrence, she earned it by being smart and by getting a scholarship. And then look what happened… I’m just here minding my own business, secretly crying. Some days are worse than others, but it’s still just there, hanging over me. She did not choose that. She was really, truly brainwashed.”

“I still love her, I don’t care what she’s done,” Cynthia told in the 2022 interview with The Daily Beast. “Short of murder, there is nothing she could do to dissuade me from loving her. I did want to [go to the trial to] see her in person, because I haven’t seen her in at least 10 years… I haven’t talked to her in at least seven.”
Coming to her stance on Larry’s sentence, she expressed, “Even though everyone has ordered me to not speak to reporters, I feel strongly about that s.o.b. He does not deserve a life sentence, he deserves DEATH!!”
