Shamima Begum was born to her parents on 25th August 1990 in Britain, England making her 32 years old.
Her Father’s name is Ahmed Ali, while her Mother is Shahnaz Begum. They are initially from Bangladesh and also held Citizenship there due to their origin.
Later, they became immigrants to England and belonged to the Muslim religion, so Shamima was raised with the same values. Similarly, she was raised in the Bethnal Green area of Tower Hamlets in East London.
For her academic aspect, her parents admitted her for secondary education at the Bethnal Green Academy. But she was only with her family until she was 15, as she went to Syria shortly after.

The Shamima Begum citizenship issue is the central talk among the media as many people are concerned about her since she ran from her East London residence and went to Syria with two of her mates.
The UK’s highest court judged on 26th February that Shamima Begum, a 21-year-old woman of Bangladeshi heritage, should not be permitted to enter the nation again to contest the ruling.
She initially lost her British Citizenship after traveling to Syria to join ISIL in 2019. After living several years in Syria, Times Journalist found her in a Syrian refugee camp which led to huge controversy among the media outlets.
She should be permitted to return to the UK to contest the revocation, three Court of Appeal judges decided in the summer of 2020.
Though Begum has the right to appeal the decision, the Supreme Court decided that she should do so from outside Britain owing to security concerns.
