She was definitely looking forward to a fun date night out. For a long time, these kinds of fantastic events weren’t part of her life. “Being invited to the party and then not being able to attend is a real bummer!” she shared in her post.
She considered this the pinnacle of her career. An incredible team was lined up to prep her for the big day. And then there was the dress, a stunning creation by the brilliant @csiriano. “It’s the best dress I’ve ever worn, and it was designed for comfort during the after-parties,” she gushed.
Everything was falling into place so seamlessly. But when her test came back positive, she confessed to shedding a few tears. That’s why her daughter’s thoughtful act meant so much to her.
“She drew a picture. One page says ‘I love you, Mama’, and the other ‘Dada loves you too’,” she described the hand-drawn image. “And there’s a mama snail with baby snails.” She paused. “Anyway, it brought me back to what truly matters. I’d choose to snuggle my sick little one any day, even if it means missing out on a night like this.”
