The CCTV clip shows the two women fiercely going at each other as gobsmacked employees tried to break up the fight.
The pair came to blows after a woman – identified as Leticia – was warned she had been using a leg press machine for too long.
The 66-year-old is then seen jumping up to face her accuser, Rossana, in a no-holds-barred altercation.
The security footage captured the two throwing punches a moment later with Rossana pulling Leticia’s hair.

She then dragged her opponent along the gym floor while onlookers tried to intervene.
But while the pair are grappling, Leticia bites off the other woman’s fingertip, local media reported.
After the staff succeeds in breaking the two apart, Rossana can be seen running off to her friend for consolation before seemingly realising she had been bitten.
She is seen screaming in pain and chasing her assaulter before passing out and collapsing to the ground.

The gym employees then rush to assist her with a medical kit and water while one member of staff fans her with a towel.
The gory pictures show Rossana’s right hand missing the tip of its little finger.
The fingertip, still with its red nail polish on, was retrieved for evidence and placed in a plastic bag.
Another photo displays a defiant-looking Leticia standing next to a police cruiser while wearing handcuffs.
Both women have been detained by police with gym administration informing local media that their memberships had been revoked.
Leticia is allegedly being charged with assault while Rossana is thought to be recovering from her injuries.
It is currently unknown if medical professionals were able to reattach the bitten-off digit.
