Detectives investigating the death of a man in Bradford have charged a woman with murder.

Susan Poole, 52, of Shetland Close, Bradford has been remanded in custody to appear before Bradford Magistrates this morning (Friday).

The charge relates to an incident at an address in Shetland Close on Tuesday, April 16, where a man’s body was found.

A 26-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with this matter has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Holdsworth, who is leading the investigation, said: “We have a number of ongoing enquiries into this incident and the circumstances surrounding it, and for those reasons would ask for people not to speculate about it on social media.”
