Early life and education

Eddie was raised on Staten Island by his Jewish parents, about whom little is known because Eddie respects their privacy; it’s believed that his father was the owner of a jewelry store, and that his mother was a housewife. Eddie became interested in acting at a very early age, and began appearing in theatre plays when he was 11, making his debut in “Four Baboons Adoring the Sun”. He made his debut TV series appearance in a 1994 episode of the soap opera “One Life to Live”, while he then appeared in the 1994 episode “The Tale of the Curious Camera” of the family fantasy series “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”
