According to the report, Hector Tricoche has been experiencing this ailment for some time. It is unknown whether Tricoche received surgery or medical therapy for his ailment. The 66-year-old musician may have sought therapy for his disease in Massachusetts, where he stayed until his death. His Instagram photos indicate that Hector Tricoche recently performed. Later in the early 1980s, Tricoche began a professional salsa music career. The singer was best known for his hits including, among others, Mujer Prohibida, Hacer El Amor, and Sed de Amarte.

In the 1990s, Tricoche published around eight studio albums, and by 2007, he had released six compilation albums. The official death notice posted by his daughters reads: “Our father, Hector Noel Tricoche Albertorio, passed away in Springfield, Massachusetts, at the age of 66, and it is with great grief that we certify his passing. We are grateful for the outpourings of support, sympathy, and esteem during this terrible time.”
