A huge former woollen mill complex in Huddersfield has been put up for sale with a price tag of well over £2m.

Heath House Mill has been listed up for sale freehold for offers in excess of £2.45m. Buying freehold generally means acquiring the building and the land.

The site, just over five acres, is based off the cobbled Heath House Lane in the village of Bolster Moor, near Golcar. The mill complex is made up of 40 units and is home to 25 businesses in total, the majority of them described as being ‘industrial’ in nature.

Heath House Mill is being marketed by commercial property consultancy Walker Singleton who described the mill as occupying an ‘idyllic hillside location’.

Walker Singleton director Ryan Barker said: “Heath House Mill represents an excellent investment opportunity, with a strong net initial yield and a low capital value rate, so we expect will make it a popular listing.

“It’s prominent location and the future potential for redevelopment are only likely to further increase attention in the site. I would strongly advise any interested parties to get in contact to discuss the opportunity and to arrange a viewing.” The sales details state that the site has “future redevelopment potential”.
