The former president, who has been parodied by several SNL stars including Alec Baldwin, Darrell Hammond, Jason Sudeikis and Phil Hartman, was not a fan of one of James Austin Johnson’s impressions of him.
Trump took to Truth Social to slam the late night show in October 2022 after Johnson portrayed the politician sitting on a toilet during the January 6 hearings.
“It was once good, never great, but now, like the Late Night Losers who have lost their audience but have no idea why, it is over for SNL — a great thing for America,” he wrote.
