It was an admirable team, talented in all phases of the game and led by a brilliant Hurts. They started the new season as such (a 10-1 record in 11 games), but overnight it all disappeared.

It is understandable because of many factors. Among the physical condition of Jalen Hurts, who started out as an MVP candidate, or the defensive slump, they are the third worst in the league, behind only Arizona (26.8) and the Washington Commanders (30.5).
Their 25.2 points conceded per game is a liability. “We all go through m*****. But nobody quits. The players know how to fight. The coaches know how to fight. We’ll give it our all and see what happens,” Sirianni said.
