Concurrently, he signed a record deal with Atlantic Records and started performing covers of popular songs, including “Somewhere” by Leonard Bernstein during the 60^th Annual Grammy Awards.

In 2018 he participated in support of the anti-gun violence initiative March for Our Lives, releasing a song with “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. He is also set to appear in several films, including the historical fiction “Run This Town” alongside Damian Lewis and Nina Dobrev.
