Mike Tyson continues to get into fine shape and form as he awaits the day he will be able to step into the ring against Jake Paul and his latest method has been to entertain a street fight with another legendary boxer, Shannon Briggs.

Tyson will make his comeback to the boxing ring aged 58, after facing Roy Jones Jr. in his most recent bout during the Covid-19 pandemic, but he has not fought professionally since 2005 when he had declined significantly in terms of boxing quality.

So, it will require significant training to condition him to be able to keep up with a professional boxer almost 30 years younger than him, which is what Paul is, and his latest effort was innovative to say the least.

As he headed through Brookyln, New York, reminiscing about his past and where it all started, he was accompanied by Briggs. They travelled through his neighborhood, where Tyson spent much of his youth and was exposed to a life of crime.

“That’s what we were, savages out there,” Tyson told the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game in 2022. “Survival of the fittest. Even if we know you, if you are weak we going to get you.

“If you don’t shoot somebody, that’s disrespectful. You ain’t s*** in Brownville.”

But things turned personal after some jokes when Tyson ripped off his shirt and got into a stance and Briggs followed.

They then battled it out in a slap-boxing match and grappling contest, although neither of them intended to hurt the other and the fight ended in laughter when they collapsed to the pavement and declared peace.

“Brownsville’s finest always ready for a brawl. Love this guy,” Tyson posted online with a video of their battle.

Briggs said, “@miketyson and @cannon_briggs in Brownsville having a straightener in front of #AtlanticTowers !!!! @smoothedahustler the referee!!!! It’s on!!!”

Jake Paul then responded to the video with the comment: “Nice chests.” It is unclear if Paul meant the statement seriously or sarcastically.

Who is Shannon Briggs?

Born on December 4, 1971, in Brooklyn, New York, Briggs turned professional in 1992 after an impressive amateur career. He quickly rose through the ranks, winning the WBO heavyweight title in 2006 by defeating Siarhei Liakhovich.

Throughout his career, Briggs fought some of the biggest names in the sport, including George Foreman and Lennox Lewis.

While he experienced setbacks and controversies, Briggs remained a fan favorite for his entertaining style both in and out of the ring., with his powerful punches and colorful personality leaving a mark on many fans.
