Caitlin Clark revealed that she’s looking forwards to the fan interactions when she makes her WNBA debut as she is anticipated to be selected first overall on Monday, April 15 by the Indiana Fever, adding that it “never gets old.”

Clark‘s an insanely talented basketball player who put up a 31 points per game average throughout 2023/24 as she went on to become a national championship runner-up whilst breaking the scoring records for women and then for both men and women, but the success hasn’t caused her to generate an ego.

Caitlin Clark is SNL’s surprise guest and her appearance goes viral

She always had time for the fans as she plied her NCAA trade with the Iowa Hawkeyes and she intends to keep that energy into the WNBA as she admits she loves interacting with fans and the next generation, who she could go on to inspire to follow in her footsteps.

“The people I idolized in my life were either professional women’s basketball players, professional soccer players,” Clark said to NBC News. “And that’s what I wanted to be growing up.

“And I think understanding how big of an impact that can have on a young girl’s life is super important.”

Clark never forgets the fans

Clark sold out venues in her final NCAA season as she proved to be the draw at every match due to her famous “logo three’s” when she would shoot three-pointers from the courtside logo location.

And she always remember to repay the fans for their loyalty and desire to watch her, even after she surpassed Kelsey Plum and Peter Maravich to become the points leaders.

“I always try to make as much time as I can for them,” Clark said on repaying the fans. “And just to see them scream your name or have your jersey on – that’s something that never gets old.”
