Breaking news, folks! Don Lemon, the renowned newsman, is officially off the market. He’s just tied the knot with his longtime partner, Tim Malone.
The wedding took place in the heart of New York City on April 6. Interestingly, this date also marks Tim’s 40th birthday. Talk about a double celebration!
The couple shared a glimpse of their special day on Instagram. The snapshot featured them at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, where the ceremony took place. Don, looking dapper in a dark green tux, and Tim, equally handsome in navy blue, were the picture of happiness.
And guess what? Their three adorable dogs were part of the wedding procession. The furry trio accompanied the couple as they descended the stone steps of the church. The caption on their Instagram post simply read, “Just married!”
Don had always wanted a church wedding. “I wanted to get married in the church,” he confessed to People. And Tim, being the sweetheart he is, made sure Don’s wish came true.
The ceremony was officiated by none other than Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. The guest list was a who’s who of about 140 personalities. It included Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro-Cárdenas, and Sunny Hostin from The View.
Music executive Clive Davis was also present. So were The Real Housewives of New York City alum Luann de Lesseps, Tamron Hall, and the Baldwins – Alec and Hilaria. Don’s former CNN colleagues Kate Bolduan, Erin Burnett, and Dana Bash also graced the occasion, as reported by the magazine.
