Scott Disick‘s shockingly gaunt appearance and drastic weight loss is a result of going ‘too far’ with Ozempic, according to insiders, who claim the Kardashian’s are fearing for his health.
The reality TV star, 40 – who shares three children with his ex Kourtney Kardashian – sparked concern when he was pictured looking noticeably thinner following a meal with his pals at Catch Steak restaurant in West Hollywood on Saturday.
Fans feared his appearance was a result of an undisclosed illness or drug use, but sources have told DailyMail.com that he has been using Ozempic in a desperate bid to get rid of his ‘dad bod.’
‘He is not ill and isn’t doing hardcore drugs,’ an insider said. ‘Kourtney would never allow Scott to spend so much time with their kids if he was in the throes of an addiction.

‘Scott started taking Ozempic because he had serious issues with his weight gain. This time last year he saw himself as fat.
‘He had gained a lot of weight and couldn’t stand seeing himself in video footage that aired in the past couple of months. He would go to great lengths to cover it up.’
The insider claimed the star, like many in Hollywood, wanted to use the wonder drug as a quick way to get rid of the extra pounds he had gained.
‘Scott wanted the easy way out of his dad bod,’ they said. ‘But now it has clearly gone too far and, of course, the family is worried about him.’
The source added: ‘They will likely use this for show ratings in The Kardashians. Scott is strong and will be able to get through this – especially now that he knows that it has become a huge problem with his image and fame.’
Scott’s wellbeing became a topic of conversation last year following an episode of the popular Hulu reality show.

The star’s struggles began in August 2022 after a car crash which left his Lamborghini flipped upside down.
During the episode, Scott admitted he had not been doing the physical therapy needed to recover and later told his doctor: ‘I haven’t been able to run around. I’ve gained weight.’
Khloe stated: ‘I think Scott needs a little pep talk because this is probably the unhealthiest I’ve seen him. He’s barely mobile, and it’s all from his back, so that wouldn’t make anyone feel good.’
Scott then admitted that he had ‘gained a lot of weight… because of my back.’
The businessman has also battled substance abuse throughout his adult life and was even hospitalized for alcohol poisoning in June 2020.
Prior to that, he had a near fatal overdose in 2014 after he took almost an entire bottle of sleeping pills following a wild night out drinking and partying.
He was eventually convinced to enter rehab for a month-long stay by his ex-girlfriend Kourtney.
In 2017 he told DailyMail.com that he used legal cannabis oil SwissX to ‘relax.’
He made changes to his diet in 2020 after discovering that he had low testosterone levels.
The reality TV star — who was spotted leaving his ex Chloe Bartoli’s residence with a suitcase in tow earlier this week — was out with friends on Saturday night when images highlighting his weight loss started to circulate.

He was later seen leaving the Offsunset nightclub with bombshell Sarah Bauer, 28, as identified by Page Six.
Scott was pictured in a sprinter alongside the Universal Music Group employee — who wore black strappy heels and was sat directly next to Scott after their night of partying.
The pair were also seen out with his friend, model Jordan Barrett, 27, who has also undergone an extreme weight loss transformation.
Scott was famously in a long-term relationship with Kourtney from 2006 to 2015.
The former couple also share three children together — Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, nine.
After nearly a decade of dating, the pair parted ways for good as she cited Scott’s sobriety battles as the reason for their parting.
The reality star, who lost his parents in 2013 and 2014, openly struggled with substance abuse and alcoholism throughout their nine year relationship.
Kourtney has since moved on and married Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker in May 2022, with the pair welcoming their first child together, son Rocky, last year.
