Alison Hammond was forced to issue an apology on This Morning on Tuesday after the showbiz correspondent accidentally swore.

The show were discussing the news that Beyoncé fans have been left upset after learning their CD and vinyl editions of her new album Cowboy Carter are missing tracks.

Fans who pre ordered the physical copies of the superstar’s eighth studio album have been let down after realising that the digital release features more songs.

The pre orders of the CD and $40 vinyl began to arrive on Friday, the same date as the digital release, but fans soon took to social media to lament that they hadn’t gotten the full album.

According to fans, five tracks present on the country album’s digital version were missing from the vinyl: Flamenco, Oh Louisiana, The Linda Martell Show, Spaghetti, and Ya Ya.

The same tracks, except for Flamenco, were reportedly missing from the CD as well.

Others addressed the fact that some pressings of the CD and vinyl had the title ‘Act II – Beyincé’ instead of Cowboy Carter.

Some pointed out that this change in name could be evidence that Beyoncé was adding tracks and making changes up until the final weeks of the release, with physical editions of an album typically pressed with a long lead time of at least two months.

Variety have reported that fans who complained directly to the album’s retailer over the weekend received an automated response that their concerns would be answered in three to four days due to a ‘higher volume of emails than usual’.

This Morning presenter Alison quickly apologised to viewers for the profanity and explained that ‘passions were high’ over the Beyoncé news.

She said: ‘We can’t miss an apology for Andrew’s very colourful language, so we do apologise for that.’

She continued: ‘It’s morning television, passions are high and Beyoncé is missing vinyl tracks, what is going on? I’m not happy about it.’

Taking to social media, they tweeted: ‘It always amuses me when they swear; He said p***ed off on daytime tv; Language Timothy!’

‘That guy just swore on #ThisMorning; Oh dear someone somewhere will be deeply offended & deeply hurt by that language & ruin their day!!’

It comes after it was Dermot’s turn to apologise to viewers earlier this year, after the show inadvertently aired an F word.

The mishap occurred when rapper Tinie Tempah‘s explicit song ‘Pass Out’ played in the background during a segment of the show in January.

As Alison introduced an upcoming slot with Tinie, the volume of his song increased, revealing the explicit language.

The rapper could be heard saying the lyrics: ‘I’m a star and I brought my f*****’ cast out.’

After the break, Dermot apologised, acknowledging the inappropriate language saying: ‘Welcome back to This Morning and apologies for that swear word you might have heard just before the break.’

Viewers took to social media to express their shock and delight at the same time, writing: ‘Pretty sure they just played the F word on Tinie Tempah’s song on #ThisMorning; ‘Naughty #ThisMorning, someone did not listen to that Tinie Tempah track very carefully!!!’

‘I’m sure #ThisMorning has just played Tinie tempah saying ‘f****g’ at 11:31am; Coming up…’Tinie Tempah you are live on ITV1. Please do not swear’.’
