Chris Dawson had two children with her first wife, Lynette Dawson: Sherryn Dawson and Shanelle Dawson.
Shanelle was four years old when their mother Lynette vanished from Sydney’s northern beaches in 1982. That was the last time either of them heard of her.
Dawson, their father, was not initially suspected in his wife’s kidnapping but has now been identified as the person who kidnapped and murdered Lynette. Shanelle, who was four years old at the time of the incident, is now 44 and a mother.
Sherryn Dawson, the couple’s second child, was born in 1980 after Shanelle and is now 42 years old. However, no additional information about their current location is available. Sherryn is preoccupied with her life and family and does not want to be the center of attention.
Dawson’s third child, Kristen Dawson, was born in 1985 as a result of his second marriage to his former student Joanne Curtis. Chris and Joanne married in 1984, and Kristen was born a year later.
Kristen, who is now in her 30s and has two small children, lives on Sydney’s northern beaches, near her mother and not far from Chris and Lyn Dawson’s former home.
Born in 1948, the 33-year-old Lynette Joy Dawson vanished into thin air on January 9, 1982. She was survived by her two daughters and her husband, Chris Dawson.
Despite the fact that her whereabouts and body are unknown, coroner’s police investigations have concluded that she was murdered.
It was the year 1970. Chris and Lynette, a high school couple, married at St Jude’s Church in Randwick, Sydney. They’ve just turned 21. They became parents to two children.
Lynette went to her mother’s house in Northbridge Baths on January 8, 1982, but she never returned and vanished. That was the last time anyone saw or heard from her.
