Celebrity Big Brother‘s Lauren Simon was the second housemate to be evicted from the ITV series on Tuesday, with Sharon Osbourne also ending her stint on the show.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star, 51, faced the boot after being put up for eviction alongside Louis Walsh and Fern Britton by their fellow housemates.

After it went to a public vote, Big Brother told Lauren her time on the show had come to an end.

She said as she exited: ‘I’m feeling overwhelmed I had the most amazing time.’

Sharon, meanwhile, ended her one week stint in the Big Brother house as a celebrity lodger and became emotional as she was greeted to cheers by the crowd.

Before exiting Big Brother asked Sharon who made the best impression on her, she said: ‘Nikita has made a last impression because he is beautiful inside and outside’.

She added: ‘Levi he has something I’m looking for and he is at peace with the world and he is a genuinely good guy and I hope his daughters ring him.’

As Sharon left the house she was greeted by her daughter Kelly.

Fans quickly took to X – formerly know as Twitter – to say they are ‘gutted’ Lauren has been voted out of the house.

One wrote: ‘Just watched CBB eviction and I’m actually confused and shocked.. honestly thought Lauren would stay!’

A second said: ‘Gutted Lauren is out the #cbb house!! How did she go before Louis???’

Another added: ‘I’m gutted Lauren is out! She’s entertainment gold!

While other viewers called Sharon a ‘CBB legend’ and a ‘national treasure’ on X as she departed the house.

Another penned: ‘Loved Sharon on CBB will miss her won’t be the same now’.

Another joked: ‘Praying the producers have taken out a loan to keep Sharon in for longer #CBBUK #CBB’

‘Sharon will always be a CBB Legend’, wrote another.

Sharon joined the cast as Big Brother’s ‘lodger’, staying in her own living quarters complete with private toilet, and has lasted a total of eight days in the TV house.

She had previously revealed that she could only stay on the ITV series for a short period due to needing to get back to husband Ozzy Osbourne, 75, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019.

The ‘original reality star’ has been vocal about her opinions since starring on the programme, making scathing remarks towards the likes of singer Adele and former talk show host James Corden.

But many fans thought Louis would have been voted out after getting a chorus of boos from the awaiting crowd outside the house.

Elsewhere on Tuesday night, Louis laid into his former act Jedward in yet another scathing rant.

The former X Factor star, 71, branded the singing double act, whose real names are John and Edward Grimes, ‘vile’ when he was asked what he thought of them.

Louis was quizzed on his opinion of the Irish stars after managing them for four years between 2009 and 2013, after shooting to stardom on the X Factor.

Colson Smith asked Louis: ‘What were Jedward like?’

And Louis replied: ‘They were vile.’

Colson said:’ They’ve done well’, and Louis said: ‘I got £5million from them. I swear on my mother’s life.’

Clearly impressed, Colson quipped back: ‘B****y hell, I wish I had a Jedward.’

Doubling down on his opinion, Louis added: ‘And they were vile. But they were novelty. It was great for the show. It was all about the show’

Despite his negativity on the twins, it appeared to be a lucrative partnership, as Louis revealed that they ‘made him £5million’ while under his management.

Taking to X moments after Louis’ comments aired, Jedward hit back at their former manager.

They wrote: ‘Louis Walsh is a cold hearted b*****d who didn’t even send us flowers when our mom died.’ Their mother, Suzannah, tragically died from cancer in 2019.

The twin brothers previously branded Louis a ‘cold-hearted two-faced b***h’ during a social media attack three years ago.

In 2021, Louis revealed that he was looking for ‘young, exciting new girl singers’ as he put together a new band.

In response, Jedward posted quotes from an interview Louis gave to The Irish Independent, in which he recalled advising members of Girls Aloud to lose weight.

Louis said: ‘They were competing with the Spice Girls. t matters for them because they all want to be the skinny bitch in the middle going out with the footballer.’

Jedward then wrote: ‘Don’t get involved with Toxic Management!’

They added: ‘Louis Walsh at this point only wants acts to manage to make it look like he’s doing something! He’s a cold hearted two faced bitch who uses his powers for his own benefit!’

TOWIE star Gemma Collins quickly jumped to their defence on Instagram as she admitted she ‘couldn’t believe’ what was being said.

Gemma said: ‘Shocked to see what was said about my boys. They are the sweetest, talented, polite, educated, kind boys I’ve ever met hence why they are always in my company!! TEAM JEDWARD. #Jedward’

It comes after Sharon turned her back on close pal Louis during Monday’s show as she chose not to save him.

The former X Factor judge, 71, was given the ultimate power and secretly watched her fellow housemates’ nominations, before being tasked with saving one from eviction.

After Louis, ZeZe Millz and Lauren all received the most votes, Sharon, in a dramatic turn of events, opted not to save her pal and former colleague.

Louis looked to be left fuming by the decision as the Osbourne matriarch chose to instead save social media star ZeZe and replaced her in the public vote with Fern.

He later said in the diary room: ‘We don’t agree on everything we have different opinions, she didn’t save me yesterday.

‘I was surprised, I was the obvious save. I don’t want to go its in the public hands though’.

Gary Goldsmith was evicted on Friday.

The millionaire businessman, 58, who is Kate Middleton’s uncle, was up for eviction against The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren.

Speaking in his first interview on Late & Live, Gary said: ‘I’ve had the best time, I went in with one agenda and I’ve achieved it in five days.

‘I don’t consider myself to be a celebrity, I just happen to be related to someone who is a big celebrity.’

Gary previously claimed he has no interest in being a celebrity, and when hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best asked if that was true, he said: ‘100% totally. I want to change what people think of my personality. It hurts when people refer to things that happened 20 years ago which aren’t all true, they call me a buncle.’
