Douglas Craig Emhoff is an American lawyer and the second gentleman of the United States. He was born on October 13, 1964. Emhoff’s first job was as a lawyer for the entertainment business. He was in charge of Venable’s offices on the West Coast and later became a partner at DLA Piper. He also teaches at Georgetown University Law Center as a distinguished visiting professor.
Since 2017, Emhoff has been a partner at DLA Piper. He has worked in the field for more than 25 years. He got his law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1990.
