West Ham are in talks over a loan deal for Red Bull Leipzig defender Matthew Bondswell.
The young left-back was formerly with Nottingham Forest’s academy and has been on loan at Dutch side Dordrecht this season.
The England U18 international is seen as cover by manager David Moyes after Arthur Masuaku underwent knee surgery just before Christmas.

Though Masuaku is on the road to recovery, Moyes wants an extra body to give him options.
Moyes was keen on Manchester United’s Brandon Williams but with his interest in Jesse Lingard, he can’t sign two loans from the same club. United are also reluctant to let Williams out.
Bondswell is due to fly over for talks and a medical ahead of completing his move back to England.
Moyes remains determined to bring in a striker too as well as Lingard.
