Michael Porter Jr. Interviews With Lana Rhoades About The Dark Sides Of Adult Industry

While discussing the dark side of porn Lana Rhoades, who in recent years has admitted to panic attacks, depression and suicidal tendencies, shared that “there are a lot of things that I’ve come to terms with recently that I didn’t even know were wrong. I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.”?

“The life expectancy for a woman in the sex industry is 37 years and outside of porn it’s 78 years – how can that be?”?

Michael Porter Jr. pointed out to Lana Rhoades that: “I believe the average life expectancy of a woman in the sex industry is about 37 years and the average life expectancy outside the industry is about 78. How is that possible?”

“Imagine you meet a person at the reception and you don’t feel any attraction to them, and then you have to have sex with them? Do you think you might like her?” asked Rhoades.

“I find it very hard,” Michael Porter Jr. acknowledged to her.?

“Men consuming porn don’t feel guilty, and they don’t want to hear how I might feel about doing it,” shared Rhoades, who in 2022 confessed to being asexual and stated that “they should make porn illegal, I don’t think it’s good for anyone”.

“I don’t even like having sex, honestly I’m pretty asexual. I never hook up with people, I don’t find people attractive and I’ve always been that way,” the American actress told ‘The Skinny Confidential’.

Lana Rhoades: “Porn was a traumatic experience for me, I wouldn’t go back for all the money in the world”.?

Rhoades, who only worked as a porn actress between 2016 and 2018, admitted that her experience in the sex industry “is a life sentence. I can’t hide from it. Everywhere I go, everyone has seen me in a film and I have to deal with it. It’s clear to me that I wouldn’t go back for all the money in the world”.

“It was a traumatic experience for me….. I’m not going to say that every scene was horrible for me, but I had five or six scenes where I had a really bad time. I had to talk to a psychologist before some scenes, just so I could go to the shoot,” he recalled.
