Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are quietly attempting to sell the home they purchased after their wedding. According to multiple sources, the couple is working with realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency to offload the property they bought just over a year ago.

The newlyweds had acquired the massive Beverly Hills mansion for just over $60 million. When Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance, they spent nearly two years searching for a home, viewing over 80 properties before finally choosing the mansion.

Lopez and Ben Affleck have lived in the house since June 2023 but now, reports claim neither of the two were happy in this mansion. A source claimed that “Ben never liked the house. It’s too far away from his kids.” The source added that Lopez cannot keep the house as it is too big for her.

Reports also suggest that the current decision to sell is due to serious issues in their marriage, with rumors of an impending divorce. Affleck has already moved out and is now living in a rental in Brentwood. Sources indicate that Jennifer Lopez is actively looking for a new house.

Their house has been on sale for over two weeks and so far, they have no buyer. The couple is asking for approximately $65 million for the house.

Factoring in the broker’s commission, a new tax on high-value properties, and substantial investments in improvements, they are expected to incur a multi-million dollar loss.

Even so, the pair parted with $60,850,000 to secure their vast estate nestled high in the Beverly Hills mountains. This was a bargain as the original asking price for the five-acre Wallingford Estate in Beverly Hills, California was $135 million.

The property, restored by the famed Los Angeles spec developer Gala Asher, spans an impressive 38,000 square feet of air-conditioned living area.

With a 10-car garage and space for 80 additional vehicles, parking is ample. Other facilities include a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a caretaker’s residence, and a two-bedroom guardhouse.

As soon as the deal was sealed, Lopez and Affleck immediately began moving into their new home, creating a lively atmosphere with their belongings stacked in the driveway, amid furniture, paintings, rugs, and a sea of moving boxes.

After marrying in 2022, Affleck listed his Pacific Palisades bachelor pad for close to $30 million and relocated to live with his new wife and her twins, Max and Emme Muniz, in the meantime.

Lopez made a similar move in February and reportedly sold her Bel-Air home for a substantial $42.5 million. Now, Affleck is living in a rental while Lopez is reportedly looking for a new residence.
