On May 30, 2024, Angelina Jolie, 48, had fans excited when she stepped out for the opening night performance of “Reefer Madness: The Musical.” Most fans spoke about the actress’ twin daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, who accompanied her mother to the event.

The 15-year-old drew netizens’ attention by dressing in a black pantsuit with a waistcoat, a shirt, and sneakers to walk the red carpet at The Whitley in Los Angeles, California. Angelina opted for a black suit with a white T-shirt sporting a printed-on tie.

Instagram users rushed to leave their replies on a publication’s post of the mother and daughter posing with Kristen Bell, 43. The post also included separate carousel pictures of Angelina and Kristen.

Focusing on Vivienne, one person declared, “She is Brad in girl version.” Someone else called the trio “Wonderful girls.”

Another follower also noted Vivienne’s resemblance to her father, Brad Pitt, writing, “Brad spit that child out… she stole his whole face.” Still, a critical viewer stated, “Why does the daughter look 34.”

Responding to a Facebook reel showing the two actresses and Vivenne posing for the cameras, a user judged the teenager and her mother’s outfits.

The social media user said, “I think they could have worn something more feminine!” Someone else replied to a YouTube video of Angelina and her daughter arriving at the event describing the pair as “Beautiful ladies.”

The clip showed the mother-daughter duo being photographed while walking to pose for photos. The actress was seen talking to her daughter and fixing herself as they waited for their turn.

After posing alongside Kristen for a few pictures for the press, Angelina led her daughter away to watch the musical. According to reports, the star and her daughter were at the event to support Kristen, who was part of the original cast of the movie and is now producing the musical.

Theater seems to be in Angelina and Vivienne’s blood. In August 2023, the mother of six revealed that she was going to work with her daughter to produce “The Outsiders.”

The decision was made after the duo saw the musical production in San Diego, at the La Jolla Playhouse. An insider revealed that the pair were bonding over their joint love of musical theater and the dramatic arts.

In April 2024, Vivienne and her mother attended the Broadway show, posing alongside the cast and crew of the musical. Angelina explained why she’d roped her teenage daughter into being a production assistant.

The actress said, “Viv reminds me of my mother [the late Marcheline Bertrand] in that she isn’t focused on being the center of attention but in being a support to other creatives.” The proud mother noted how thoughtful her daughter was.

She also mentioned that Vivienne was “serious about theatre” and working hard to understand how she could contribute to it. To credit her for her work on the musical, the Playbill for the musical “The Outsiders” listed her as “Vivienne Jolie.”

What stood out was that her father’s last name, “Pitt,” was excluded. However, it wasn’t clarified if the teenager was planning on dropping her father’s last name going forward or if she was just using her mother’s one for work purposes.

The teenager often joins her famous mother during the musical’s promotional tour. In May 2024, Vivienne was seen supporting Angelina from the audience during an appearance on the “Today” show.

Talking about her daughter’s role in the musical, the actress revealed that the teenager had been enthusiastic due to its focus on family. The star also noted that it was the same reason the show resonated with Vivienne.

She added, “…the same reason she wanted me next to her watching it, the same reason we all hugged when I came out here is because this is about family and it’s about community…” Before attending the musical’s promotional tour, the pair went to see its New York City preview.
