About two days ago, the Chicago Bulls announced their Ring of Honor event that is taking place in 2024. The idea is to put the band back together, that legendary team that won two three-peats in the span of a decade. A plan that should include the likes of Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman, and Scottie Pippen. Chicago Bulls’ big three but there is a major controversy taking place between two of those legends. As you already know, Michael Jordan’s son is engaged with Scottie Pippen’s ex wife. This may increase the likeliness of either of the two legends to not show up for the event. Fans would love it if they could hash things out but it won’t be so easy.

After the announcement, Scottie Pippen himself decided to reminisce about the past by posting an iconic image of the sneakers he wore and his No. 33 jersey hanging in the background of the image. Although he was only asking about the famous NIKE Uptempos, people wanted to know if he was willing to talk face-to-face with Michael Jordan. Although Scottie Pippen doesn’t usually listen to these types of comments, there is always the pending question of whether Jordan will be in the same room as Pippen and how palpable the tension will be between these two.
Because since Netflix’s ‘The Last Dance’, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen evidently fell apart as a friendship and they haven’t been able to mend their relationship ever since. When Michael Jordan decided to retire after his father’s passing, Pippen was one of the people who attempted to bring him back. Eventually, he helped out convincing them and win that second three-peat together. So many memories and so much to reminisce about during that event in January. It would be a shame if either of them misses this event.
