Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a bus crash near Kilmore, north of Melbourne, where an Assumption College school bus has run off the road and hit trees.

Paramedics and other emergency services were called to reports of a bus collision about 3.45pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Two ambulance helicopters and 10 other vehicles are at the scene, according to Ambulance Victoria.

Assumption College in Kilmore posted on Facebook about the crash on Wednesday afternoon.

“Our Mauve School Bus to Wandong has been involved in an accident. All students on the bus are fine and emergency services are in attendance. There are college staff also present at the scene,” the school said in the post.
