Gwen Stefani’s Handsome Son Kingston Looks Like His Dad’s ‘Twin’ but with Mom’s Dark Eyes as He Turns 18

Fans cannot get enough of Kingston Rossdale, as a new outpouring of comments concerning his appearance has flooded social media comment sections. The 18-year-old, who just celebrated his birthday, has the public divided on which of his iconic parents he resembles the most. While some say Kingston is his dad’s “twin,” others think he has his mom’s dark eyes.

The handsome 18-year-old son of iconic musicians Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale continues to capture public attention. After we published an article about the endearing photos of Kingston Rossdale that his mom and dad shared in honor of his birthday, another wave of comments that compare Kingston’s physical features to his mom and dad ensued.

In response to the question: “Is he mom or dad’s twin?” that we posed to readers concerning the teenager, an observer replied, “Definitely [dad’s] twin.” Similarly, a Facebooker asserted, “Looks like his dad.”

However, replying to the aforementioned comment, another social media user wrote, “I think he looks like his mom he’s got Gwen’s eyes.” Still, the majority leaned more toward believing that Kingston resembles his father the most.

Another person added, “You can tell who [his] father is. Looks just like him,” while someone else who marveled at Kingston’s alluring appearance simply expressed, “Handsome boy Kingston.”

While fans may agree or disagree on the matter of who Kingston looks like the most, what is uncontested is the fact that both Gavin and Gwen raised an upstanding young man. For those who are aware of the fact that Kingston has a longtime girlfriend named Lola Albert, they will also know how sweet the teen is when it comes to expressing his love for her.

When she turned 18 last month (April), her charming beau took to Instagram to post a heartwarming birthday dedication. Kingston shared a carousel of three pictures showing the duo posing for the camera where he was seen looking at Lola with nothing but pure love in his eyes.

Adding an extra layer of sweetness to the mix, Kingston Rossdale penned a lengthy message to Lola—whom he met when they were 11 years old—which went on about how much she means to him and how much he loves her.

“honestly i don’t know where i’d be without you, without your love, and your support […] you’re my best friend and everything i’ve ever dreamed of in a partner. I’ll never do life without you, my other half, my whole wide world,” reads a part of Kingston’s caption.

In the same way Kingston expressed his adoration for Lola on her birthday, his parents showered him with love on his 18th birthday. Both Gwen and Gavin shared the most heartwarming of dedications to their eldest son, which had fans swooning.

Proud mother Gwen took to her Instagram account to post a loving tribute to Kingston with a reel that gave fans a glimpse into the teen’s life thus far. Starting off in a fun way, the video shows a young and sleepy Kingston lying in bed and holding a crystal ball while he says, “This is a crystal ball and it tells the future.”

Playing on the crystal ball’s mythical abilities to see into the future, the video then begins to play out moments from Kingston’s life, starting with a nostalgic picture of him and his mom when he was born.

From there, the endearing video displays footage of Kingston through the years: Being fed by Gwen as a baby, more mother-son pictures, and a clip of him kissing one of his siblings on the forehead.

During the flashbacks, another clip of Kingston comes up, this time, it showed off his guitar skills as a kid while adorably dressed as Spider-Man. Other clips and pics show the youngster having more fun with his mom, his friends, and other family members, like his brothers, Zuma and Apollo Rossdale, and his stepfather, Blake Shelton.

As the reel wraps up, the last few photos show Kingston as he is now. Eagle-eyed fans who watched the video may have also noticed a special young girl aka Kingston’s longtime girlfriend, Lola, make an appearance in some of the media.

Adding a layer of extra sweetness, Gwen accompanied her Instagram post with a popular song from iconic band UB40, which perfectly suited the occasion—”Kingston Town.”

The loving dad continued to proudly boast about Kingston’s musical prowess, gave him advice to stay curious and creative, and ended off by wishing him well and reiterating the immense love he has for him. In response to his dad’s post, Kingston replied, “best dad ever.”

Gavin may no longer be with Kingston’s mom anymore but that doesn’t mean that the “Love Remains The Same” singer is not active in his sons’ lives. Just last year, Gavin spoke about co-parenting Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo with his ex.

During a sit-down interview with Adrianna Costa on “Not So Hollywood!” Adrianna asked how Gavin and Gwen managed to make co-parenting look so seamless.

“I think it can go one of two ways: You can either do everything together and really co-parent and see how that goes or you can just parent and I think we just parent,” said Gavin in response to the question.

The British artist went on to explain, “We’re really different people […] I don’t think there’s much similarity in the way we bring them up but I think that gives them an incredible perspective to then choose which pieces of those two lives they’d like to inherit and move on with and which part of themselves—it kind of comes out of the whole process because that’s what’s important, is to give them a wide view of things.”

Blake models how he shows up for them after his own experience with how his dad raised his half-brother, Richie Shelton, as one of his own. “My dad did it […] I could do this. I didn’t know what I was signing up for, but I was all about signing up for it. And every day I’ve fallen in love with these boys as much as I do with Gwen,” asserted Blake.
