LSU coach Kim Mulkey is making headlines again with rumors swirling about whether she ‘hushed up’ a fight between Angel Reese and her former teammates in college.
There was a contentious moment during the previous NCAA season where Mulkey publicly shamed The Washington Post for planning to write a ‘hit piece’ on her.

She claimed that the story had lots of false information and that she had lawyers at the ready to battle the news organization if the story was published.
They chose not to run the story, but the fact that Mulkey reacted so strongly means that people want to know what was being alleged.
Potential drama for Mulkey and Reese
On Saturday morning, USA Today revealed some of the initial story; which hurls serious allegations at Angel Reese.
The article claimed that: “[the Post story’s author] Babb wrote he received from multiple individuals regarding a [LSU] team meeting in 2022 during which players were required to turn off their phones and leave them in another room while Mulkey addressed the team.”
“Babb wrote, ‘This was after a fight involving Angel Reese, witnessed by one of my sources, that occurred in front of visiting recruits.'” the USA Today article stated.
Time will tell as to whether Mulkey or Reese, who is now at the Chicago Sky in the WNBA, will feel the need to address the rumors or if they will stay quiet and wait for it all to blow over again.
