A man has been arrested after an indecent exposure incident near Hebden Bridge Train Station.

The incident occurred on the cycle path from the station to Carr Lane, Mytholmroyd, at about 6.45pm on Wednesday, May 15. The man arrested in connection with the incident is 61 years old.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A number of enquiries have been undertaken locally following the report and this morning officers arrested a 61-year-old man, who remains in police custody at this time.”

Enquiries are continuing and information can be given online or by calling 101 quoting reference 13240261019. Alternatively, information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
