Popeyes has announced the opening date for their new restaurant at Sheffield’s Meadowhall.
The new venture, another exciting opening at Meadowhall, will be the chain’s 33rd opening since landing in the UK in November 2021. Tom Crowley, chief executive officer at Popeyes UK, said: “We are thrilled to announce another Popeyes restaurant launch in Yorkshire later this year.
“ Our Rotherham restaurant opening in May was our biggest ever launch, not just in the UK but for Popeyes globally, and we’re confident that Meadowhall will be equally as popular.”
The new Sheffield restaurant will be located within Meadowhall Shopping Centre at the food court and will seat up to 80 people for those dining in. The venue will also offer takeaway.
Popeyes will launch in Meadowhall on Thursday, October 19. Doors will open at 11am with queues expected to welcome the launch.
Founded in New Orleans in 1972, Popeyes has more than 50 years of history and culinary tradition. Menu highlights include spicy chicken, Louisiana-style chicken tenders, and of course, their famous biscuits and gravy.
