Real Madrid took the first step towards winning the La Liga title with a comfortable 3-0 win over Cadiz on Saturday.

Brahim Diaz, Jude Bellingham and Joselu lit up the scoreboard for Los Blancos, who would later be confirmed as league champions after Barcelona’s shock 4-2 defeat to Girona later in the day.

Here are Real Madrid’s best and worst players from the game according to 90min‘s player ratings.

Brahim Diaz – 9/10

Gliding effortlessly on the wing and manoeuvring past defenders with finesse, the 24-year-old seemed destined to leave his mark on this match with either a goal or an assist. When the final whistle blew, he had obtained both.

Brahim Diaz opened the scoring at the Bernabeu in the 51st minute, unleashing a thunderous strike from the edge of the box that nestled into the top corner with precision. Then, in the 67th minute, he orchestrated another moment of brilliance, delivering a perfectly weighted cross into the area for Jude Bellingham to slot home.

Honourable mention

Eduardo Camavinga – 8/10

You’ve got to feel for Eduardo Camavinga, who should have had an assist to his name for the plethora of opportunities he created for Joselu.

With the backing of Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos, Camavinga consistently surged forward in this clash, providing support to Los Blancos’ attacking force.

On the stroke of half-time, he executed a sublime pass, pinpointing Joselu’s position inside the box. Yet, despite the precision of the delivery, the forward’s volley soared high above the crossbar, leaving an opportunity squandered.

Joselu – 6/10

Madrid can count themselves fortunate to have prolific scorers elsewhere on the team, especially considering Joselu’s lacklustre performance here.

It took the 34-year-old striker several bites of the cherry to score, his goal ultimately being a simple tap-in.

Joselu rattled the post from a favourable position in the dying embers – fortunately the missed opportunity didn’t impact the outcome of the game, much to the relief of Real Madrid fans everywhere.
