Strictly Come Dancing’s Janette Manrara has been flooded with support from fans as she shared a candid parenthood update.

The It Takes Two presenter welcomed her first child, Lyra Rose, with husband Aljaz Skorjanec last summer. At the time, the couple confirmed the happy news with a sweet social media post, where the first time parents can be seen for the first time with their daughter.

Since then Janette has been keeping her fans updated on her busy life as a new mum and it appears as though she is learning to juggle everything at once.

The dancer took to Instagram and shared a clip of her hold baby Lyra on her hip while holding a hover in her other arm.

Alongside the clip, she wrote: “Never felt more badass. To all the parents doing laundry, raising kids, vacuuming, and still managing work, a relationship, and somehow a social life… we’re saving the day one nappie at a time.” The star’s comment section was flooded with sweet support from fans. @Lisalewiscorden wrote: “One day at a time. You’re doing brilliantly.” @Mylenequinn said: “You have multi-tasking down to a fine art. You’ll be on holiday soon.”

@nbarnes86 commented: “Haha! And still some time left to give us all a giggle! Boss Mama!” @marythewil said: “You’re both doing a great job & Lyra is such a happy baby . Have a fab holiday , safe journey.”

While @denisesgo15 added: “Powerful we are when we get someone to look after!!! Motherhood is a great moment in our lives!!!”

It comes as Janette was forced to switch her flights and she admitted that the whole process was “difficult”. The star had been planning to go on holiday but things changed last minute. Sharing the news with her fans she took to Instagram and said: “Hi everyone. So, for unforeseen circumstances, we have had to change our flight from tomorrow to Wednesday.”

“It took an entire day to do. It was not easy to do. They really do put you through machine after machine, message after message, connection after connection and then I spoke to four different people about the same thing, because the call kept dropping as well.”

“My God. Whatever happened to just picking up the phone and talking to somebody? “It’s so complicated these days.”
