Tom Brady’s Actress Ex Posts Cryptic Message After He Was Roasted for Leaving Her While Pregnant

Actress Bridget Moynahan’s intriguing social media quote about loyalty sparked widespread speculation as eagle-eyed netizens discussed who the message might have been referring to. Some speculated the message might be about her athlete ex-boyfriend.

Bridget Moynahan recently posted a cryptic message on Instagram that raised many eyebrows. The ‘Blue Bloods’ star shared a black-and-white image with a quote hinting at betrayal: “Loyal people take s**t more personal because they never would’ve did that s**t to you.”

Moynahan captioned, “So true,” along with the hashtag “repost” from professional wrestler Gail Kim-Irvine. This caught the attention of many sharp-eyed netizens, who speculated about who Moynahan was addressing.

One user suggested the message was aimed at her ex-boyfriend, Tom Brady, commenting, “Sounds like the Tom thing still stings or why comment at all. However, other online users rallied behind Moynahan. One supportive follower remarked, “Yup!! What she said!! So very true.” Another netizen suggested that karma would catch up with those at fault, writing, “Karma, baby! Karma!”

Others praised Moynahan’s handling of the situation, describing her as “a class act all the way,” while another declared, “Now this is a roast.” The message came after Brady found himself on the hot seat during comedian Nikki Glaser’s roast of him on Netflix.

In one episode of “The Roast of Tom Brady,” Glaser referenced the athlete’s 2006 breakup with Moynahan. Brady sat in a brown chair, wearing a black suit, as he listened to Glaser delve into his personal life.

Glaser quipped to Brady “You really are, I mean, you’re the best to ever play for too long, I mean, you retired, then you came back, and then you retired again, I mean I get it, it’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend. It’s tough!” This joke set the tone for Glaser to dig even deeper.

She humorously claimed that when Brady left his ex-girlfriend, he hadn’t realized she was pregnant and thought she was just gaining weight. Glaser also poked fun at the athlete’s strict diet, saying that if people followed it as rigorously as he did, they could also end up losing their families.

Despite Glaser’s jabs about Brady and Moynahan’s past romance, Moynahan seemed to be doing well. She was recently photographed at a book event in New York City.

She donned a white, leaf-printed shirt tucked into her navy blue pants. She wore glasses and completed her outfit with black heels. She appeared cheerful as she attended a discussion for “Blue Bloods” co-star Tom Selleck’s book, “You Never Know: A Memoir,” in the Big Apple.

This event was Moynahan’s first public appearance since Glaser’s roast of her past relationship with Brady. Moynahan and Brady began dating in 2004 but ended their relationship two years later.

She admitted she had never imagined herself in that position. “I’m not sure anyone — and I could be wrong in this — grows up thinking, ‘I want to be a single mom,'” she said. At the time of her pregnancy revelation, she was three months pregnant, but Brady had already started dating Bündchen, whom he later married in 2009.

This new reality made Moynahan especially keen to protect her family’s privacy. She noted, “There’s no reason why my son years down the line would need to read anything [personal] about his mother or his father.”

Reflecting on her time of heartbreak and pregnancy, Moynahan described it as a challenging, life-changing experience. Despite the difficulties, she found it to be a valuable experience. “But now I have a child, and it’s the best thing in the world,” she affirmed.

Despite the complicated circumstances, Moynahan and Brady have maintained a positive co-parenting relationship for their son, Jack. Brady also shares two children with Bündchen: daughter Vivian and son Benjamin.

Although Brady’s marriage to Bündchen ended in 2022, Bridget Moynahan has found joy and stability in her marriage to Andrew Frankel. A mutual friend reportedly introduced Moynahan and Frankel, and they immediately formed a bond.

While she has kept their relationship private, Moynahan rarely shares details about it publicly. The couple has been together for nine years and continues to nurture their union while balancing their respective careers and family life.

The couple tied the knot on October 17, 2015, at Wölffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack, New York, in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family, including Moynahan’s son.

Moynahan posted a photo on Instagram of the happy couple holding hands and smiling, captioned, “Oh, by the way, guess what I just did.”

Their vineyard wedding reflected the couple’s preference for simplicity and ease. According to their wedding planners, the couple wanted the event to feel more like a large family dinner party than a traditional wedding.

Since tying the knot, Moynahan has enjoyed her relationship with Frankel. She said of her husband, “I met a really solid, good human being with none of the pretension or all that other litter. He’s a really good person and a good partner.”

She emphasized that these qualities, often undervalued in favor of more superficial traits, were what truly mattered in a relationship. Moynahan’s husband has worked in the stock market.
