On February 16, 2024, their marriage was terminated and the two officially finalized their divorce. They agreed to retain joint custody of their kids.

Jewel admitted that she naively didn’t know what her mother was until in her 30s. “I woke up and realized she embezzled all of my money — over $100 million,” she revealed.

After learning the truth, Jewel has implemented significant changes in her life. She began to mend her relationship with her father, who decided to pursue sobriety in his sixties.
