Astounded expert Clive asked: ‘So this valuable manuscript with your family in, was found on a tip? somebody had just thrown it out?’.

Before gushing: ‘I think [the book is] extraordinary, I mean you’ve got sort of 200 pages here, crammed full of every relation you could possibly have’.

‘And here it is, beautifully bound, there is hardy a mark on it, found in a tip’.

Despite branding it ‘priceless’ Clive said the item could fetch a whooping £1,500 at auction.

Shocked the man, with a beaming smile, asked: ‘Really?’.

It comes after a schoolboy was left equally shocked by the value of his genie lamp in an earlier episode.

The youngster arrived at Roundhay Park in Leeds, where he brought along a sterling teapot he had found on the side of the road in a box marked ‘free.’

The boy – who is thought to be the youngest-ever guest on the long-running series – did not reveal his name, but the antique teapot was marked with the letter G, which is his initial.

Revealing more about the history of the teapot, expert Lagina Austin explained: ‘It’s what they call a demitasse pot, which would be used for coffee rather than tea. And this was probably part of a set.

‘And the G on there is probably a family name of whoever this belonged to at one point. You’re right that it’s sterling silver.’

When Lagina told the young man that the value of the antique was in the region of £200 to £300, he couldn’t believe his luck.
