Tyson Fury believes that the beating he aims to give to Francis Ngannou‘s eyes will end the fight in six rounds, as he anticipates the MMA fighter to be unable to continue in the continue.
It’s the latest in a series of mixed-martial arts combatants taking on professional boxers, although the conditions of the fight will make it a boxing contest as opposed to a UFC-styled fight.
This time, the ‘Gypsy King’ will take on the Cameroonian, with the latter being trained by Mike Tyson although Fury doesn’t expect Tyson‘s training to be of much consequence in the bout.

Ngannou is widely expected to be out-classed in the contest as he has never had a professional boxing fight whilst Fury is undefeated in 34 attempts and has been the lineal champion since 2015.
However, if there is one thing that the former-UFC champion does have, it’s devastating power and his MMA record backs that up as he has won 12 of his 17 fights by knockout.
Alongside Deontay Wilder, who is regarded as the biggest boxing puncher in the world, Ngannou might pack the most powerful punch in combat sports but is untested against a boxer.
Further stacking the odds against him is the fact that he has never used 10oz boxing gloves and hasn’t fought since January 2022 whilst Fury beat Derek Chisora in December 2022.
