Career

In the year 2000, she was seen in a film titled Anatomy where she played the role of Gretchen. Moving on, she was seen playing the role of Juliane. And, it was from the TV Series titled The Miracle of Berlin.

From 1987 until 1990 he acted at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. The actress played the role of Vera in the series Weissensee, in the year 2010.  From 2006 to 2018, she has been the voice of the rock band Silly.

Besides that, she is famous as the wife of Jan Josef Liefers. After Jan Josef Liefers’s study, he moved to the Thalia Theater in Hamburg.  Therefore, his first role in cinema was Alexander von Humboldt.

It was for the East German film Die Besteigung des Chimborazo. At the start of his career, he appeared in some minor film roles. However, in 1996 he achieved his breakthrough with the Helmut Dietl film Rossini. Additionally, he received the Bayerischer Filmpreis for his role (Bodo Kriegnitz).

In the year 2007, he started on a trip of a lifetime from Quito (Ecuador) to Patagonia in South America. His trip came to a premature end, unfortunately. Thus, he was injured avoiding a collision with a young child who ran out in front of his motorbike.

Likewise, it was shown in 2008 in a film about the trip called “70° West – Entscheidung in Peru” (Decision in Peru). Hence, it was shown on the German TV channel DMAX.

He was a leading figure in a group of German actors criticizing the coronavirus policies in Germany, in April 2021. It was with the campaign #Allesdichtmachen (“shut everything down”). The campaign was heavily criticized.
