Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have bid adieu. Next stop? Who knows. They were spotted together, looking like two peas in a pod, as they landed at NYC’s JFK International Airport on January 21. And of course, Ariana’s adorable dog, Toulouse, was there too.
The Wicked co-stars were seen holding hands. They were meeting up with Ariana’s mom, Joan, just outside the terminal. It was a sweet family moment, you could say.
Both Ariana and Ethan were dressed in matching black jackets and pants. Talk about couple goals, right? They were welcomed with two bouquets of flowers and some white-and-silver balloons. A nice touch, if you ask me.
They kept their masks on, even after the flight. Safety first, folks. Ariana was also seen sporting a Wicked baseball cap. A nod to their recent project, perhaps?
This sighting happened just a few days after Ethan finished filming the movie adaptation of the Broadway musical, Wicked. He shared a glimpse of his last day on set in an Instagram post dated January 21.
In the post, the 31-year-old actor bid goodbye to his trailer. It had the name of his Wicked character on the front door. A bittersweet moment, for sure.
Ethan captioned the behind-the-scenes photos, “Bye Boq Woodsman.” A simple, but poignant farewell.
