The former teen idol, known for his iconic song “Beautiful Soul” released nearly two decades ago, might be underselling his maturity. Reflecting on his own relatively uneventful transition into adulthood under the public eye, he feels fortunate. “I’m lucky I didn’t really have any major public meltdowns or crazy, stressful moments, at least in front of the camera,” McCartney said.

He added, “At least not yet.” He’s managed to keep a level head and lead a relatively normal life, considering the circumstances. Especially given his young age during the height of his fame.

McCartney credits his smooth journey to his “great family and friends.” He continued, “and just a solid foundation of people that I had around me at that time.” Sure, he had his fair share of typical teenage struggles. But they were just more public.

He doesn’t harbor any regrets, though. “Of course there’s things I went through that I think any normal teenager would go through, just in a public way, but I don’t have any regrets.” His story is a testament to the power of a strong support system and the resilience of youth.
