Bicyclist, 70s, seriously injured in collision with car in Mililani

A bicyclist in his 70s is in the hospital after being struck by a car in Mililani early this morning, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.

EMS responded to the scene at Kamehameha Highway near Lehua Road at about 5:40 a.m. today.

Paramedics administered advanced life support to the bicyclist, who suffered injuries. The man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police closed Kamehameha Highway, southbound, from Leleihua Golf Course Road to Waikalani Drive for a collision investigation.
