From his college years, he began his professional career. The University of Florida offered him an athletic scholarship to attend the university. Moreover, he accepted the offer and went on to play for the Florida Gators from 1998 to 1991 under coach Galen Hall and coach Steve Spurrier. He was a first-team All-SEC pick and a consensus first-team All-American during his senior season in 1991.

When he was an outstanding defensive tackle and team captain on the Gators’ Southeastern Conference (SEC) championship team. He had 18 quarterback sacks and 47.5 tackles for a loss during his college career. Moreover, he was an active member of Sigma Chi Fraternity during his college time. Moreover, in its 27th season, the show name Survivor: Blood vs Water, had both Monica and Brad as participants. Monica finished second in the season, while Brad came in 15th place. In the reality show Survivor: Game Changers, he was one of the participants. He demonstrated his physical domination all through the season.
